Do you truly comprehend who God really is? He wants you to know the depth of who He is.
The apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 3:10, “That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.”
God wants you to truly grasp His majesty, holiness, power, love, grace, and joy. Because whrn you bgin to comprehend these mighty truths about His character, you are enriched, enabled, and energized.
The apostle Paul, in 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 wrote, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entereed into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.”
Despite being stoned, beaten, shipwrecked, slandered, rejected, and imprisoned, Paul wrote that his ultimate aim in life was to “know Christ.” And he surely did. This knowledge carried, encouraged, and strengthened him to the very end of his life. And Paul was able to proclaimin 2 Timothy 4:17-18, “Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”
When you know Jesus as your Deliverer, Comforter, Forgiver, Healer, and Prince of Peace, you can endure too, Because you know the truth of His character and the certainty of His promises. So press on to know Him at all costs
