Do you ever feel all alone even while in a crowd of people? Are you aware of God’s presence with you – even right now? Jesus said in Matthew 28:20 in the great commission, “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever i have commanded you: and, lo, i am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
His being “always with us” is a reality that, at times, cannot be sensed with your emotions. In fact, if you’re hurting or facing a great deal of stress, the Father may seem a million miles away. But if you’re a genuine believer, He has given His Holy Spirit to indwell you. So you see, He is ALWAYS with you.
The apostle Paul, in Ephesians 1:13-14 wrote this, “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.”
So you see, it’s an absolute fact: YOU CAN NEVER BE OUT OF GOD’S PRESENCE.
Allow this truth to give you confidence today. The all-powerful God, your wise Creator and loving Lord, doesn’t leave you to fight battles or figure things out by yourself. His prefect strength, unlimited knowledge, and unfailing love sustain you always – even when you don’t perceive His presence.
So look for God’s intervention, ask what He’s teaching you, be sensitive to His promptings, and acknowledge His blessings. Keep watch for His activity in your life. Because when you see how dynamically He is working on your behalf, you’ll be amazed at how profoundly amazing His love and provision for you really are.
May this be your prayer today: “Lord, make me sensitive to Your presence. Thank You for opening my spiritual eyes to Your love and activity in my life, amen.”
