Daily Devotions

With the real possibility of businesses being shut down again because of the surge in the COVID-19 Virus, you may be wondering how you will make ends meet.
Please understand that God is your all-wise, all-powerful, and all-loving Heavenly Father who loves you so very
much. He demonstrated His love when He sacrificed His one and only Son, Jesus for your eternal salvation. After having given so much, you can certainly trust Him to provide everything you need to live from day to day, even amid this pandemic.
The apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 4:19, “My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
It is God’s responsibility to supply what you require. It is your duty to trust Him, obey Him, and keep your focus on Him, NOT on what you perceive is missing from your life.
Unfortunately, when we shift our attention to what we don’t have, we typically try to fulfill our needs on our own. What we pursue is never good as what the Father has for us, and is usually a sure path to sin at times.
Let me encourage you to trust the Lord to be the Source of everything you need. Keep your eyes on Him. Whether through opportunities to work, the generosity of others, or His miraculous supply, God not only can, but will, make His provision available to you. It is His character to be faithful, so my friend, have faith He will come through for you!
Prayer thought: “Heavenly Father, You have been so faithful to me! I will continue to trust in You for all my needs regardless of what is going on around me, amen.”
For today, praise Him for His provision.
